Foresight Group Services, a UK-based company in a joint venture with Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, intends to develop a CNG terminal with a capacity of 1.5 million tpa in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat
Apart from the CNG terminal, it will also develop Ro-Ro terminal, liquid cargo terminal and container terminal in Bhavnagar. Once completed this will be the world's first CNG terminal
The project will see an investment to the tune of Rs 1,900 crore. It will be undertaken in phases
The Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) had inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Foresight Group in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit for developing the project
As per information available with Projects Today, Padmanabh Mafatlal Group has received in-principle approval from the state government, but is still awaiting other necessary authorisation approvals
